After the Justice League, there are seven Marvel films in the series

If the Justice League is a resounding success, both in terms of critique and sales, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment did not realize that. The film, expected to be a project offsetting the mixed reactions to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice did not meet the expectations. And while we can blame the rush in setting the start date, a change in the director’s chair and the decisions coming from the studio’s heads, there’s another floor of trouble. the DC Cinema Universe (DCEU) is facing.

Forget about Marvel’s confrontation with DC and talk about the main thing. Wonder Woman brought Warner Bros. a lot of success. It set a record and was widely respected. It was a must-have movie for both the superhero and the superhero genre, but even Gal Gadot’s Diana could not help the watch justice league war defeat Thor: Ragnarok on the opening day.

DC’s second major plot is a big one, DC’s own film universe. The movie’s screening was announced at a shareholder meeting in October 2014 where Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara revealed that the opening date for the 10 DC movies is currently being changed and that what has already been set has not been fully implemented yet. That means there is no pedal at all. Take Justice League as an example. It was originally announced that it would be two films, but at the moment the drafting of the Justice League 2 scenario is almost over, and it still does not have a release schedule or a director, not even a single. The actor plays Batman.

Initially the studio plans to make two films each year that will definitely bring in revenue along with there will be room for independent films by Batman and Superman. And of course, from that point on, there are dozens of titles that are thought to be in the development phase (including Nightwing, Batgirl, Black Adam, Joker, Justice League Dark, Gotham City Sirens, Deathstroke, Suicide Squad 2, Booster Gold, Wonder Woman 2 …). With the above, Warner Bros. What is the goal? What are their plans for Justice Leauge? Why is there no official information on who will be joining Matt Reeves’s Batman? Will there be a long story or should we expect so many independent films from talented filmmakers? What is the reason we still do not know?

Turning back to the main issue, its plan was to build a universe around team-up movies, but after the Justice Leauge, no movie was released for more than a year so even though it was very popular . It will not be a good launch pad because Aquaman is the only DC movie scheduled for 2018. And it will not be released until December. That means following a long wait for the release. Most of the alliance, there will be seven consecutive Marvel movies thanks to 3 different studios. Marvel Studios has raised the number of films produced each year to three films starting in 2017 and next year we will see the same thing from Fox and their X-Men lineup. 2018 also marks Sony’s launch of the Marvel movie universe, an addition to the Marvel Movie Universe (MCU) that may or may not be linked to the Spider-Man trilogy.

Here is the schedule for all of Marvel and DC movies in 2018:

2/2/2018 – Black Panther
4/13/2018 – The New Mutants
4/5/2018 – Avengers: Infinity War

10/10/2018 – Venom
Nov 11, 2008 – X-Men: Dark Phoenix
21/12/2018 – Aquaman

Maybe a rest period for DC is needed after Snyder, especially if the Justice League is a failure for the studio. Just one hit or two, everything will return to the right track and you can get Deadpool and Logan as compensation for X-Men: Apocalypse. We certainly know that Shazam! And Wonder Woman 2 will start filming next year so they will have at least 2 films by 2019, maybe another movie if one of the projects is ready to go into production by the end of 2018.
