10 films are not really great as people have “acclaimed” (Part 2)
6. La La Land
Maybe La La Land is good, but it’s not even an Oscar (if you remember the Moonlight incident that day). To be honest, the movie did not reach the level of greatness of the year as many people still imagined. Trying to “appreciate” many musicals but La La Land is far from reaching the level of Singing in the Rain. The music is good when trying to imitate the style of decades ago but the love story of Sebastian and Mia is tedious to describe. For the first time, the movie can give you certain emotions, but to watch over and listen to those songs is always boring to the neck.
7. The Matrix
If the technique creates a good movie, Transformers is definitely a superhero of mankind. The same thing happened with The Matrix. The content is trying to prove “dangerous” and “hacking the brain” but the reality is extremely simple. The film’s action with leather jackets, black glasses and flashy shots seemed to “learn” from Blade a year earlier. The acting was bad on the table when the cast was almost wearing glasses and was “cool” and mysterious all size.
8. The Dark Knight
Admittedly, the fanboy, the success of The Dark Knight largely thanks to Heath Ledger and the role of Joker right? Moreover, this is also the film shaping the style of “dark” and “deep” of DC that. However, the story of the physiological “Batman” in the movie is too much trouble and tired. Tim Burton’s Batman series is also dark, but he knows to exploit the bat’s mental element. Nolan’s character is just a man fighting with criminals and wearing bat only. The film tried to gong yourself to have many knots as the style of the British director often hit the line and trouble. Oh do not forget the action-type Batman has not touched the crime itself.
9. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Many fans also think that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the best Star Wars movie. In fact, the work is only part of the “out” from the introduction of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. The film is a collection of a series of unreasonable and sporadic to incredible. Make bad movies off the table. The characters are contradictory from the table when minutes before just killing each other, then switch to … close teammates. Especially Donnie Yen’s Chirrut with a divine “divine” just by just walking … pray.
10. Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump is a good movie but it is overrated by many critics. Shawshank Redemption or Pulp Fiction deserves an Oscar over Robert Zemeckis. The story and the characters of the two movies are better than Forrest Gump, except for Tom Hanks. The only thing that this film can do is to hit post-war psychology and important events in American history only. See more:
